Here are some fun stats from Eastern Michigan University's Student Center and Event Services team. During the 2023-2024 academic year the EMU Student Center has had over 480,000+ guests come through our doors and our team has set over 120,000+ chairs for various meetings, conferences, seminars, etc. Nice job, team!

While we can’t be hosting events on campus currently, it doesn’t mean we can’t discuss events at all. One day we’ll get back to being together learning, celebrating and networking at events. In the meantime, can you guess these 11 locations on campus based on the hints below? All of these locations have hosted events in the past. Can you name all 11? Answers will be posted Friday, September 25. Eastern Michigan University
1. The popular EMU College changed locations in 2016 and has 1,056 students under its wings.
2. This building can fit 76 average American houses inside itself.
3. This residence hall is a part of a triplet that when at max capacity, can sleep about 350.
4. A location on campus that has served as a popular student hangout since it opened in 1988.
5. This academic space got a facelift in 2019 and completes an important “complex” on campus.
6. This building opened in 1931 and featured a food location called “Sunset Strips” at one time.
7. You can see all of campus and more from this special location which endured a fire in its past.
8. This building added in 1982 can hold one million gallons in one of its building features.
9. This building used to house a morgue in its basement.
10. This popular location on campus offers a little pick-me-up.
11. This location on campus is where a local famous broadcaster and an EMU “voice of the Eagles” can be heard for 19 years and counting. Bonus question – name that person.
