On Monday evening, June 3rd at 6:30p.m. at the Siskiyou Performing Arts Center (S**C) J.J. Lewis-Nichols will show her adaptation of Shakespeare's "Hamlet". Starring Cooper Bruhns (now Augustine Bruhns) in his farewell performance, the cast includes Connie Meek, John Timm, Peter Beoris, Dan Cordell, Harry Caramanos, Danielle Jester and many more local actors. Saturday, June 1st, 2 p.m., the Siskiyou Performing Arts Center, 315 Yreka Street, will host a DVD showing of the longest running show in our history: the female version of "The Odd Couple", by Neil Simon. Starring Jilly Cook, J.J. Lewis-Nichols, Tom Sieber, Jim Buxton, Connie Croad, Shirley Hammond, Dari Peterson and Carol Weekley, this is a hilarious show star-studded with famous local faces. Free. Free Workshop at Siskiyou Performing Arts Center.

Starting Wednesday, May 15th at 6:30p.m., J.J. Lewis-Nichols offers a free workshop called "Pieces of My Puzzle For Performance". Actors 13+ can choose a monologue, poem, stand-up, dance, lyrics from a song or you can write your own piece. The object is to move yourself emotionally. J.J. will be handing out her process sheet, a guideline for any audition or for understanding and breaking down a script.

"As You Like It" could not be cast, unfortunately. This workshop is an opportunity for experienced or novice actors to work and perform.

S**C will hold auditions on Saturday, April 6th from 1- 5p.m. for Shakespeare's comedy "As You Like It" directed by J.J. Lewis-Nichols. Many parts, big and small, wide age range. Adapted & shortened by J.J. American accents. A fun summer gig.

Rehearsals start mid-May. We play August 1, 2, 3, 4, 2024. Please come to auditions with a monologue or choose to read from one of the scripts provided. If you know of summer scheduling conflicts, bring them along so we can work around them. Show off your comedy talents!

Same Company, plus some new faces and performing a different repertoire of Broadway classics.

The story of two childhood friends, Melissa and Andy, who write to each other about their trials and glories since age 7; their story is beautifully created as JJ and Peter take the audience through school, college, marriage, and children with their experiences all over the World.
