Did you know the best time to spot a Bald Eagle in East Texas is between October and July!

Yep! The Bald Eagle is one of our favorite Critters of Camplee.

Once an endangered species, this magnificent creatures is making a comeback! There are now believed to be around 160 active Bald Eagle nests in Texas. These nest can stretch 6 feet across and weigh hundreds of pounds.

Camplee is often graced with these beauties and their incredible aerial acrobatics.

As the summer is burning up and away and we make the transition into the fall. Fall historically (as in these photos) is damp and wonderful weather for a bondfire!

⛔️ Sorry Camplee guests we can not currently have bond-fires at Camplee.
We are in a burn ban.

We make hopes/wishes/prayers/and rain-dances as we lookin forward to the days with an abundance of rains we can make fire again.
