The end result is fresher flowers and longer lasting blooms when purchasing from Zionsville Flower Company. But he didn't stop there. After discussion with other world renown florists, the decision to bring in a state of the art water purification system to ensure our flowers are drinking the best water possible - which extends the life of the flowers as well. While all this transition was taking place and developing, I was practicing my craft at the old Marsh store at 106th and Michigan Road, having led the floral department there since 2001. Without saying too much, the Town of Zionsville is already aware of the letdown losing Marsh. They let me down too; having spent a career of nearly thirty years in their floral departments. Fortunately, many of my previous customers from Marsh were still contacting me to bring them flowers, and in July of 2017, I was fortunate to open From Bud to Blooms at the opposite end of the Village of Zionsville at 40 East Poplar Street. Bursting at the seams, with so many fresh varieties of flowers, and the supporting response from our repeat customers, we have taken the measures to relocate our flower shop to a much larger retail store located at 275 South Main Street in Zionsville. In the spring of 2018 Brian decided to sell Zionsville Flower Company. Maybe a little nervous at first, considering Brian's artistic flair in his design work, we quickly adapted to his styles as well as maintaining our own artsy and flowery look to which I have been accustomed to for so many years. Best part of it all, YOU the customer, decides the Flowers you want, When you need them. We have improved customer service, listening intentively to capture your creation that best represents your desired taste and budget. During the growing season in Indiana we continue sourcing flowers from LOCAL INDIANA farmers whenever possible.
