**Blooming Lotus Season at Tra Ly**

In Quang Nam, the vast expanse of lotus flowers blooming in Tra Ly, Duy Xuyen, creates a picturesque and tranquil scene, attracting tourists for photography.

The Tra Ly lotus pond spans about 40 hectares in Chan Loc village, Duy Son commune, Duy Xuyen district, approximately 30 kilometers from the center of Hoi An city. The lotus season here lasts from May to August, with the peak bloom occurring in June.

The Tra Ly lotus, with its deep pink color when fully bloomed, usually bursts into its full glory when the sun rises. The lotus pond, amidst the early morning sunlight and misty haze, stands out in the rural landscape, drawing visitors for sightseeing and photography.

Ms. Minh Thi, from Da Nang, expressed her fondness for lotus flowers and dressed in traditional ao dai attire, combined with a conical hat, to take photos with her daughter at Tra Ly as a memorable experience.

She mentioned that amidst the vast lotus pond, every direction offers a view of blooming lotus flowers. The fragrant scent of lotus flowers, coupled with the surrounding greenery as the dawn breaks, creates a "sense of peace and comfort."

Also from Da Nang, Mr. Le Minh Duy shared that this is the second year he and his wife have returned to Tra Ly's lotus pond because they are "captivated" by its beauty and the peaceful atmosphere.

Discovering Tra Ly's lotus pond through social media, Ms. Vong Thi Huyen from Gia Lai also took the opportunity to capture moments with lotus flowers to share with friends and family.

The Tra Ly lotus pond, although vast, has pathways between each pond, making it easy for tourists to move around and choose preferred photography angles.

Chan Loc village has converted over 40 hectares from rice cultivation to lotus cultivation, with approximately 60 households participating. The lotus pond not only provides a significant source of income but also attracts tourists from neighboring areas for sightseeing.

Located about 20 kilometers from the My Son Sanctuary, Tra Ly's lotus pond is a perfect stop for tourists before exploring the cultural heritages of Quang Nam, including the My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An Ancient Town.

Every day, hundreds of visitors come to the lotus pond for photography and sightseeing. The ideal time to admire and take photos at Tra Ly's lotus pond is from 6 to 9 a.m. when dew still lingers on the flowers and leaves. Visitors do not need to pay an entrance fee to visit the lotus pond. However, if they wish to pick flowers for photography or purchase fresh lotus seeds as gifts, they need to contact the pond owner.

"Spent an incredible 3 days and 3 nights exploring Cao Bang on a budget of only 1.8 million VND! 🌄✨ Here's a quick rundown of my adventure:

**Transportation:**
- Departed from Hanoi on a Vinh Dung sleeper bus, priced at 300,000 VND/person.
- Explored Cao Bang on motorbikes rented from Trung Kien Motor at 150,000 VND/bike.

**Itinerary:**
- Day 1: Explored Cao Bang City, Lenin Stream, and the 15-layer Pass. Overnight stay at Nha Nghi 58M.
- Day 2: Visited the City's orange garden, Nang Cafe, and Thung Mountain. Overnight at Nasan Green Farm in Trung Khanh.
- Day 3: Explored Ban Gioc Waterfall, the Ancient Chestnut Tree, and returned to Hanoi.

**Cost for Two People:**

Escaping the Hustle and Bustle: Tranquility at Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda 🏯🍃**
Life can get overwhelming, and in those moments, I seek solace at Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda, where the sound of a gentle bell echoes, bringing peace to the soul. ⛩🍃

Standing before the temple gates, inhaling the air, and listening to the soothing sounds, I find a sense of calm that washes over me.

Despite having seen numerous images of the pagoda before, it's only when immersed in its space that I can confidently declare it as a place of complete beauty, offering a spectrum of emotions and perspectives.

Every place I've visited carries a tinge of nostalgia, and the usual thought is to return for another glimpse. However, with Dia Tang Phi Lai, I feel compelled to make frequent visits for the sake of serenity, reflection, and self-discovery.

As the Lunar New Year approaches, the temple sees an influx of visitors, many in traditional Vietnamese "ao dai" attire. While it's heartening to see the temple gaining popularity, I hope that amidst the photoshoots and social media sharing, the sacred and tranquil ambiance of Chua Dung (its former name) is preserved.

The present name refers to Lord Dia Tang Bodhisattva, who may or may not return to this sacred ground, as it is the place where the Buddha's ashes were transformed into the earth.

Dia Tang Phi Lai impresses with its elegant and serene scenery—a convergence of heaven and earth for spiritual gatherings. The unique architecture and lush greenery are captivating, but my attention is particularly drawn to the wind chimes and the twelve circles in front of the ancestral hall symbolizing human connections.

A sign amidst these circles gently advises, "Endure suffering (as the sea) and please climb ashore," encouraging visitors to ascend the smooth stones rather than stepping on the gravel.

👉🏻 Some small notes to keep in mind when visiting the pagoda:
- Located in Ninh Trung village, Liem Son commune, Thanh Liem district, approximately 70 km from Hanoi. Taking a bus from Giap Bat seems to be a safe and convenient option.

- Avoid bringing and burning gold paper offerings within the temple premises.

- Pay attention to areas where photography is prohibited.

- Rain at the temple creates a picturesque and rare scene. There was a moment when it rained while the sun was shining brightly.

Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda, experienced alongside Vũ Minh Tú, has left me daydreaming about the next visit, possibly next week or even at the beginning of the new year.
