自莎士比亞經典劇作《暴風雨》（The Tempest）延伸，《TheNight Before Tempest》以背叛、仇恨、信任、矛盾與原諒為主題，描繪在暴風雨來臨前心中的糾結與猶豫，探討人性中善惡的掙扎。編舞麥卓鴻與導演周偉泉合力透過編作劇場（DevisingTheatre） 及舞蹈劇場（Dance Theatre）的形式，解構經典文本，重建現代人與莎劇的情感連繫。

Beyond Dance Theater X Kelvin MAK X CHOW Wai Chuen proudly present the Dance Theatre production ”The Night Before Tempest“
What is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil. - Nietzsche
Derived from William Shakespeare’s classic creation titled
”The Tempest“, ”The Night Before Tempest“ revolves around betrayal, hatred, trust, ambivalence and forgiveness, portrays the vacillation and hesitation before the foreseeable tempest and fathoms the struggle of goodness and wickedness in humanity. Through the method of Devising Theatre and the format of Dance Theatre, Mr Kelvin MAK (the Choreographer) and Mr CHOW Wai Chuen (the Director) collaboratively unravel the classic play to reconstruct emotional correlations between Shakespeare‘s work and the people of the modern world.
