When C+A came to us with a fairy tale love story and a vision of translating their love of hosting at home to the beautiful grounds of in Mexico. The result was a three day love letter to their nearest and dearest with every detail intentional and every emotion considered.

There was SO much amazing dance and music at R+A’s wedding at When the bride and groom meet through their dance troupe, many of their friends are professionals, the story of their love is told through dance at their sangeet and all their family and friends show up to take part…. It’s bound to be an impressive and expressive show of celebration, joy and talent!

According to Anna Pavlova, dance is the purest expression of every emotion, earthly and spiritual. It’s little wonder then that weddings around the world mark this earthly and spiritual union with song and dance.

We were blessed to witness the raw joy and love expressed by their whole wedding party on that beautiful weekend in the San Juan Islands. 🧡

How long do you think it took a team of people to capture these details? ✨

As designers we help tell our clients’ stories with a thousand little details chosen with care. The tricky part can be capturing them so that they can enjoyed well after the festivities are done.

We had an amazing time collaborating with Bryan of to capture these vignettes for O+D’s wedding. We especially love how the personalities of our clients shine through!

It’s no secret that weddings planned with personal and intentional details resonate on a different level. We love it when our clients work with us to go the extra mile to let their ethos and aesthetic shine through in their celebration from the smallest minutia to the grandest gestures.

Our inspiring clients, Reema and Aangad, put so much thought into their multi day wedding on San Juan island, from guest experience to sourcing with care (and countless other details). It’s no surprise that when it came to writing a 3 hour Hindu ceremony R+A took care to infuse tradition with innovation that resulted in a meaningful, joyful and equitable ceremony that set them on their path as a married couple with a holistic approach that represents the two of them, their families and their stories. This heartfelt day was a culmination of handmade touches, heirlooms, a love of warm and playful flowers, a union of two loving souls + their families, and even a surprise performance of Matchmaker from Fiddler on the Roof (altered to tell their story) from the bride’s sisters- all of which was joyfully celebrated at with the amazing team below.

Still life a la California 🩵🧡✌🏼

When we work with clients on creating a color palette for an event, one of the biggest components to consider is the element of place. We draw inspiration from the environment, not only to create harmony for guest experience (by echoing hues from the setting) but also for more impactful results in the finished photography. When all the images come back with cohesion between the couple, their story and the locale, it’s a win for all! It’s even better when the photographer has a consistent editing style that highlights the colors too! 👌🏼 Now that’s a match made in gallery heaven!

We’re getting the gang (mostly) back together! Thanks to a carefully timed family vacation, 4 of the 5 of us partners will be together working in Ireland this is weekend for our delightful clients Rachel and Joseph!
