Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, and we’re thinking of our OG Chief Sass Officer, Oreo. His spirit lives on in every event we host, guiding us with his sass and love. Though he’s crossed the Rainbow Bridge, his presence continues to inspire us, reminding us of all the dogs who’ve touched our lives and hearts. 🌈❤️

Fun fact: 92 years ago today, the Coliseum hosted its first Summer Olympics. 🎉

As the Olympics are happening, we can’t wait for the Olympics to come back to LA in 2028!

❤️ Community is everything, and we’re thrilled to team up with for PAWLYMPICS!

• LA Public Library will discuss the benefits of having a Library card, provide sign-ups, and offer LAPL merchandise. LAPL will also have a small pop-up library filled with books about dogs and animals for children and young adults to enjoy.

• City Controller Kenneth Mejia and his staff will present information about his office and share ways people can help our city’s overcrowded animal shelters, including adopting, fostering, and volunteering. ❤️

• New York Life will be on-site to help you create a free Dog ID, reducing the number of missing dogs.
