Their story is as special and unique as they are. CA Dept of Public Health just released their new guidance that allows you to go to a MLB Game or Disneyland, but not an event reception.

Their new blueprint says gatherings of no more than three households can gather at a time - EVEN THROUGH TIER 4!

This is after we have spent SIX MONTHS sending case studies from other states and asking to operate according to guidelines already approved for Restaurants and the Hollywood Filming Industry.

They do not care about the 93,000 small businesses this affects or the three million workers who have no livelihood. They have not provided any science to back their decision or any reasons why we are not allowed to operate at all.

It is COMPLETELY unacceptable. While we have tried to be cordial and work with the state in a productive manner, enough is enough! Please email the following list of people (you can send it all in one email) to express your displeasure or tell your story about how the closure of events has impacted you. It doesn't need to be long or eloquent, they just need to know how many people are impacted.

Ask to be included in the current blueprint, ask for guidelines. We've been working with them for over 6 months with no concrete feedback.

Behind The Wheel

Hi there! My name is Caitlyn Jade Flannery, the Owner of Caitlyn Jade Events.

I’m a born and raised San Diegan, but have always enjoyed broadening my perspective through travel. So far my favorite places have been Bali, Indonesia and Dubai. Through planning these trips, I fell madly in love with the planning process and everything that goes into event organization behind the scenes.

Back to the boat: My family and I have always enjoyed being out on the water. On the weekends, you can catch us paddle boarding, kayaking, and sailing! Some of my favorite childhood memories were made from spending summers doing these things on Catalina Island. These life experiences have inspired me to combine my nautical knowledge and event-planning passion to start my own event company!

I can't wait to help make your luxury event sail smoothly!
