It’s Thursday, Dallas. You know what that means. I’ll be at Back Mountain Brewing Company to exercise your brains! I’ve got a couple of much requested trivia rounds tonight in addition to a music round where we *won’t* be naming the artists.
Here’s a photo of Zan chilling in the living room earlier today. In the background is a custom sizzle cymbal made by Zildjian in the ‘60s for my father and a vintage acoustic guitar from the Philadelphia Music Company (of Limerick, PA lol). And yes, the walls are purple.

Woke up to a little snow this morning! Enough to look pretty but not enough to be a nuisance and nowhere near enough to keep me away from Back Mountain Brewing Company for your weekly trivia fix!
Tonight, we'll journey into the past just to make you feel old, puzzle your noggins, and find out how strange your tv-watching habits are.
Jayna's snuggled up in an office chair and I caught this shot just in time to see that tongue sticking out slightly at the tail end of a yawn. After that, she came over and demanded my attention, which delayed this post for about 5 minutes.

It’s Trivia Night at Five Mountain Brewing Company. We’ve got some good old fashioned pub puzzles and a chance to call “BS” on some questionable television content.
Jayna helped put together tonight’s quiz. Her Brothers were downstairs napping all day. Because, you know, cats have such demanding lives.

Hey Back Mountain Brewing Company, it's Thursday and umma be all up in you for trivia! I missed you last week but I was very busy with very important things (stuffing). Hope you're all ready to get back on the trivia train and show me what you know.
Here's your weekly dose of cat photos. This week, we're being inconvenient... exhibit 1: Jayna and my keyboard, exhibit 2: Zan and my wrist. Also, my car matches our mud. I find this oddly satisfying. I grew up south of here where there's lots of red clay deposits. I was in my late teens before I realized dirt wasn't red everywhere else.
There are no hints in this week's post other than "Hotel California" is not an answer to one of tonight's questions. (But it is in my "testing out new speakers/sound system" playlist, which used to be a CD, which used to be a cassette. Now that I think of it, I've been doing that for a long time). What are your go-to songs for new speakers or headphones or whatever?

I saw snow today. Didn't stick around, but it's here. I'll be heading to Five Mountain Brewing Company for Trivia this evening, snow or not! I'm ready to see what those Fonts of knowledge in your heads have for me.

It’s Tuesday and I’ll be at Five Mountain Brewing Company for Trivia Night. Stretch out those mental muscles and find out what’s in store for tonight’s inquisition. I’ve got rounds on a popular holiday that falls this week, stuff you might have on your phone, and things you hopefully heard in movies.
Fun facts: Björk is 58 today. In addition to being a massively talented musician and actress, she was the lead singer for the Sugarcubes, has won well over 100 awards, and has the distinction of being Iceland’s equivalent of a knight.

Alright, Five Mountain Brewing Company, it’s Tuesday. You know that means trivia night at your local brewery. On tonight’s menu: we’ll play doctor, ornithologists may have an upper hand, and we’ll talk about members of a club no one wants to join.
Jayna’s looking very serious in this photo. Nothing was happening; she was just demanding that someone pet her. (It was me. I was someone.) She’s the gentlest and friendliest of our cats but she does look like she’s ready to lay down a harsh talking to.

It's Trivia Night at Back Mountain Brewing Company! I'll be there, The Lunchbox will be there, will you? If your week's been as eventful as mine, you deserve to kick back and enjoy a beer. And while you're doing that, why not give your brain a little stimulation?
One of tonight's rounds does require proper spelling, one's completely random, and none of tonight's answers are "Ben Hur." There's also no Larry question this week... because he decided to invade an entire round.

I always look forward to Thursdays at Back Mountain Brewing Company! There's great beer, food trucks (The Brunch Truck tonight), and fun teams. Lots going on this weekend, including new brews! Join us tonight to find out more!
You should know your fruits and vegetables, some special ladies, and keep your mind on your money if you want a good game tonight. One of tonight's answers is not "Godzilla."

I hope Back Mountain Brewing Company is ready for some spooky trivia, 'cause I've got a surprise theme night for you tonight! I hear that The Brunch Truck is back with delicious food too! Come have a beer, some food, and answer questions about Halloween stuff and your favorite horror movies and their soundtracks.
Larry's not a big fan of dressing up. He gets his treats either way; no fussy outfits required. But, when he does throw on a costume, it's always freakin' adorable.

Hey, Back Mountain Brewing Company - it's Thursday and it's a very special one. The Lunchbox food truck is onsite, it's trivia night, it's renewal weekend for Mug Club members, AND we're tapping our first firkin: Rock Cut Pilsner rested on a blend of berries!
No cats this week, but here's a photo of yours truly with the firkin when it first arrived a few years ago. Come on out and meet the little one tonight!

It’s Thursday! Predictably I’m at Back Mountain Brewing Company for your weekly trivia. It’s been a week but I’m back at it. The Lunchbox is serving up grub, our hosts have the suds, and I’ve got three rounds to tickle your brains!

Hey Five Mountain Brewing Company, it’s Trivia Night! I’m out of town, so you’ll have a guest host this evening but I still wrote tonight’s pub quiz for you all. I think you’ll have lots of fun with these three rounds!

Had a blast hosting karaoke at Five Mountain Brewing Company last night! Fred earned MVP for dropping some of my favorite tunes one after the other in the queue, Holly came back for an encore duet performance, and we even went international and serenaded some Australian friends over a video chat.
Did you miss being a part of this fun, crazy crowd last night? Don’t worry - we’re doing it the first Saturday of every month!

The weekend starts on Thursdays at Back Mountain Brewing Company. The Brunch Truck joins us this week with their delicious take on some classics.
You’ll want to be here early to grab a table for your trivia teams! One of tonight’s rounds is rated “X,” we’re going to keep you out of the kitchen, and take off to the Great White North.
Larry’s been hanging out on my shoulder while I work on trivia for his entire life. Though these days, he’s taking up a bit more space (hell, we both are). Here he is in 2005 and earlier this week.

It's Tuesday and I'll be at Five Mountain Brewing Company for your weekly trivia fix. They're turning 5 this week and celebrating all week long! Keep an eye out for some extra brewery-related bonus questions.
Tonight, I Initially planned on 5 rounds, but why mess with what's working. Instead, we're sticking to the same format like a balanced Breakfast, with all the vitamins, minerals, and Heavy Metals a growing kid needs.

In a fitting game for the autumnal equinox, we’ll get Batty and explore the implications of Disney owning everything. That’s quite a few hints in one post. Are you Taken aback?

Five Mountain Brewing Company - it’s Trivia Night! I’ve got three rounds to test your brains with some random knowledge. So don’t Monkey around and come on out. We get things started at 6:30. Be sure to get there early enough to grab a table for your team.
Larry was up late Saturday night making sure our houseguests didn’t intrude on his quarters. He’s not the most social cat, but when there’s company, he does like to make at least a brief appearance. The twins, on the other hand, have been known to ignore us and spend the night curled up in bed with our guests.

Hey Back Mountain Brewing Company , are you ready for your weekly trivia night? I sure am! I'm listening to the round 3 playlist right now and it's the perfect Day for it.
They're getting more independent but Zan and Jayna are still the best of buddies. Earlier today they were sharing a seat and later, when Jayna spotted Zan in the guest room while I was in the office, she was transfixed, showin' a concern for why her brother was sleeping under the bed in the other room and not hanging out with us helping her walk on the keyboard while I attempted to type.
