No other celebrations fits best or feels right to post on Día de los Mu***os than J&C’s wedding weekend. 🧡

Día de los Mu***os was a HUGE inspiration for this magical weekend. Especially for our second night of celebration with just their closest family buried in the heart of Joshua Tree, Califorina at no other than the super remote, exclusive & of course, iconic ✨

This building of chrome mirrors & tranparent walls created the feeling of what Día de los Mu***os stands for. This holiday represents the pathway for souls of loved ones & family to seemingly cross between heaven & earth & to be celebrated & remembered during this time. The invisible house perefectly symbolized this real life invisible barrier of the celebration of life & new begins for these two.

With the heavy influence of marigold garlands clusters, customized & personalized prayer candles, papel picados banners that were handcrafted with the new family name, it seemlessly tied in the influences of this magical holiday perfectly. The monochromtic elements of bold oranges & chrome sparked a perfect contrast to the mirrored walls & romantic candle light that danced around the dinner table throughout the night. It was pure bliss.✨

The Día de los Mu***os inspiration was perfect for this intimate evening with close family during this wedding weekend. This was a time J&C got to really spend their undivded attention & create purposeful conversations with family & loved ones. We all know that once the party starts we can’t get you off the dance floor so having a night specfically for family was perfect way to prep for the wild weekend of celebrations ahead.

If I had to make any recommendations when planning your wedding from a wedding planners perspective..

✨ Spontaneously plan everything a week
✨ Give your parents less than a week’s notice & your siblings less than a 3 day notice.
✨ Keep it a secret from the world until you finally get all the desert dust out of your Prada kitten heels.
✨ Have a vendor team that absolutely CRUSHES it with less than a week’s notice in the busiest month of the year.
✨ Let the creatives be the creatives & let everyone surprise you with how the day looks so you tear up when you see everything.
✨ Pick a date that is right before one of the biggest wedding weekends you’ve ever planned.
✨ Buy a dress & have your mother in law custom make your veil from scratch
✨ Speak your vows from your heart & let the world stop whenever you are up there at the altar.
✨ Be surrounded by the family that loves you most.
✨ Have your pups there because they can’t miss out on mom & dad making the third best decision of their lives.
✨Bring lots of tissues because you won’t stop crying over how this is the happiest day of your life.

10.20.24 🤍 I can’t wait to relive this day over & over & over. This may have taken 4.5 years to happen but I won’t have changed one thing about it.

Private vows on the balcony of one of San Diego’s most historical destinations? That’s a yes for me.

The location alone was a win for the insanely detailed architecture & historically infused European styled buildings. My mouth was watering being surrounded by all the influences of spanish colonial chiseled stone work. Then combine that with a coastal seaside, monochromatic, candle lit design.. it never felt so right.

San Diego is definitely a secret little gem on the southwest.. It has been almost untouched in the wedding world of California weddings locations / cities. If you’re looking for something a little more unique & off the beaten path this city may be exactly what you’re looking for for your destination wedding weekend!✨ Here to be you’re expert & make sure it’s everything you’ve dreamed of as well🤍

We kept a BIG secret for about two years..

Well.. Kelly, Preston & our team that is 😏

What better way to celebrate your wedding day than surprising your guests with a very special announcement!

These two weren’t just celebrating their marriage this day.. They actually were celebrating their 2 year wedding anniversary!! Crazy right? But such a fun surprise.

Their guests were shocked, excited & couldn’t be happier.

The surprises didn’t just stop there though. For dinner they had an onsite chef making hibachi, a Texas favorite for a late night snack, & an epic jump in the pool to end the night.

This day was nothing short of fun, full of love & lots of puppy kisses throughout the evening. Couldn’t be more happy for these two love birds! Always keep them on their toes 😏

If the past nine years have taught me anything, it’s that this man is my perfect match in every way. There are countless reasons why, but let me begin with a few that mean the most to me.✨

Being in the wedding industry, you learn so much about love and relationships. We often see couples at their very best, during one of the happiest moments of their lives. We hear vows that move us to tears every single time, and witness the depth of the promises made—forever commitments that are so profoundly meaningful. The way you look at each other, like you’re caught in a love spell, is something I’m endlessly grateful to witness and be part of. And when I say we are a part of it all, I mean all the parts.

As your planner, I’ve seen you both navigate the highs and lows of your story leading up to your big day. From difficult budget discussions and balancing family dynamics to those moments where you and your partner have completely different views—I’ve seen it all. And through it, I’ve learned so much about what truly matters in a relationship and what I value in my own.

The incredible man you see here & the little family we’ve built is my constant through every good, bad, and not so fun moments. He’s been my rock, unwavering in his support, guiding me through it all. Keeping me a functioning human throughout the peak of wedding season & helping me in ways I never knew I needed help. Owning a business that you’re passionate about is no joke. It’s like your firstborn; it’s everything. You eat, breathe & sleep it. But having a partner who supports you, encourages you, pushes you, and loves you is something rare. There would be no Ember & Stone without him.

These past nine years have shown me what true, genuine, head-over-heels, ride-or-die love really is. A love that’s completely effortlessly unconditional. I am so lucky & grateful to have someone a part of my life that is a definition of a partner. I hope with all my heart that each of you gets to experience this kind of love too.

Wow. Can you smell the pumpkin spice? 🎃

Feel your winter closet pulling you in? That’s right sisters. It is officially the end of summer & we’re jumping full force into the leaves! 💃

Fall is one of my favorite season. Hands down, no question at all about it. I love all the changing colors in the leaves, the crisp breeze flowing through the air, & most importantly all of the fun weddings that take us places all over the states / world. Fall is one of those seasons that is basically nice everywhere.. So our travel schedule is PACKED.

Take Palm Springs for example.. We’ll be heading this way at the end of the month & couldn’t be more excited to be back in the city that has some of the best architecture I have ever seen. Mid-century modern to the max with a strong color palette that follows. Pastels, retro tones, & rich neutrals compliment the desert mountain ridges & poolside cabanas. If you don’t have a palmona in your hand at all times what are you even doing!??

Here’s to a love that is as passionate & wild as you are showcased by a wedding that is specifically designed to be as unique as you are! 🤍

We’re all in for a wedding that’s untraditional, vibrant, and absolutely unforgettable. This entire vibe for N&K’s day was maximalist to a T & really did just that. From their custom signature cocktail names to the table top decor. No vendor or items was sourced without taking a complete look at the overall vision & the goal for our final ex*****on for the day.

This is a perfect experience of how the details material way more than you ever realize & even the smallest touches go the furthest way.✨

Trust me, not only did we see & feel all the personalization in this day but, as soon as guests walked into the room they were shocked & awed with the name cards, menus details, floral pieces, table top elements, napkins, bar signage, custom match boxes, & more. They could tell each piece reflected N&K completely.

That’s a W in my book😜

A final dance is a blast with all of your guests.. BUT don’t forget to leave time for at last dance of the night with just the two of you. This is something I’ll always recommend putting on your wedding timeline.✨

One of my absolute favorite memories from T&R’s day was their intimate last dance. It was just the two of them spinning around the custom decaled floor, sparkling crystal chandeliers & an incredible electric violinist.

The song Lifetime by Justin Bieber forever lives in my head as one of the best wedding songs EVER because of these two.

This is also probably the last moment you get to take a mental snapshot of everything around you—the decor, the flowers, and the love that filled the day. Pure bliss baby!
It’s easy to lose these moments if you don’t plan for them. That’s why scheduling dedicated “time blocks” is invaluable.

Take notes newly engaged friends!

Here are some fabulous suggestions to consider:
✨Sneak away for sunset bridals after or before dinner.
✨Exchange gifts in private.
✨Share a First Look or First Touch moment just between the two of you.
✨Enjoy an escape room after the ceremony to spend the first 10 minutes as newlyweds together.
✨Have a private room reveal and admire your reception setup before anyone else.

When I had my first call with Melissa I could tell from there it was going to be one incredibly amazing day.. one hell of party too ✨

Not only were these two head over heels for each other BUT her vision for the day was straight perfection. Super floral forward, lots of unique elements & best of all they both trusted that we were in their corner & ready to think & create all the items they could ever dream up.

So where do I start? How could you pick a favorite element of the day! May it have been the flower filled staircase with cascading florals, the suspended disco balls hovering over the lounge set / cocktail area, the custom seating chart with garden style floral baskets, the custom DJ booth that was eye popping & dramatic, custom matches with a custom family crest, the scalloped umbrellas coverage for ceremony OR maybe the glowing & fully packed table decor creating a romantic candle lit dinner?

Again, how do you even pick?! I don’t think you can🤍

Planning a day that is a true reflection of you is how your wedding day should be & what we LOVE most. So more of this please lovers. 😉

It’s couples like A+M that make me love what we do & so thankful that we get couples continuously like them✨

Crazy things can happen on your wedding day. Even when alll the odds are against you for it not to happen🤪

This is what we call trusting your wedding team 101. Not only did we have to last minute change the ceremony location the day before because of freak rain storm rolling in the afternoon of the wedding day.. But we also moved their entire cocktail hour & set up the last details of reception in 30 mins to guests arriving because of one big shower. Bananas. I know.

But that’s why you hire a us!

Could you imagine having to be the one to figure out what magically available venue is going to take your last minute ceremony / cocktail hour change because of the weather THE DAY BEFORE??

Uhm absolutely not. You should be relaxing, enjoying & knowing that all is handled & not having a care in the world.

NOT GOING TO LIE THOUGH.. the Vegas rain is one of a kind. It’s not just any kind of rain.. oh no. When it rains it does for 10 mins SUPER intensely & heavy then we’re back to your regularly scheduled program. 🤪

Lucky for us. That second big shower came to cool down one hell of dance floor & get everyone else off their feet! Truly a little rain couldn’t affect this insane party crew. I don’t think anything could have! These Bostonians were ready to celebrate this iconic duo the moment they jumped off the plane.✨

Typography is sourced for hours to find the perfect characteristics.

Colors are pulled from what you want the feeling of the day to be, the venues architecture & landscape, & of course the overall aesthetic of the day.
