Tonight, I am in Krum at 50 West Krum as the show, Vindication, is shooting scenes for Season 4. It was great meeting the show director, Jarod O’Flaherty. The cast and crew ate the pre-shoot meal at Smoke and Fire Krum. Great exposure for my clients! The production shoot is from 8pm - 2am. Vindication, a faith-based crime drama series, is available on RedeemTV, Amazon Prime, and DVD.

It was a full house this morning at the Community PointBank Business Breakfast in Denton. The guest speaker was Vince Sims of NBC DFW. Vince is the EMMY Award winning weekend news anchor, weekday reporter, and host of 5 Talk Street and shared insights and tips on how local businesses can be resources for news stories. Great stuff and great networking as always!

I want to congratulate Erica Garland and her Erica for Denton campaign run for Denton City Council Place 5. I had the privilege of providing social media and website support for her campaign. Although the results did not turn out last night as we had hoped, Erica made a valiant effort to unseat the incumbent. This race was a perfect example of "every vote matters." There were just 85 votes separating the two candidates. Voting is one of the great privileges we have in our country. So, next election, be sure to get out and VOTE! Congratulations to Denton Mayor Gerard Hudspeth for being re-elected and to all the election winners. Gerard For Denton

This week I had the honor of being the guest for the taping of an episode of Journey Through Sports and Life, a production of Murray Media. The hosts of the show are Marjorie Lewis, Scott Murray, and Marnie Schneider. Be watching here for an update of when the show is available to watch online and listen to via podcast.

Marjorie has covered events from Wimbledon to the Super Bowl and became the first female beat writer covering the Dallas Cowboys when she was named to the beat in 1986 while with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. She covered the SWC and the Cotton Bowl, and was twice named the Lone Star Conference Reporter of the Year. She later joined the SportsDay staff of The Dallas Morning News. Her debut novel, When the Men Were Gone, was named a Best Book by Sports Illustrated, a Best Book So Far by Newsweek, and winner of the Pencraft Award for Literary Excellence.

Scott is a multi EMMY Award-winning television sports anchor and broadcast journalist, keynote speaker, emcee, author, and co-founder of Murray Media, a National Video and Events Audio/Video Production Company, serving as the Chairman/CEO, since its inception in 2005. Scott was named Sportscaster of the Year 17 times by various news organizations. He has been recognized as a Living Legend of Journalism by the Press Club of Dallas and is a recipient of the prestigious Silver Circle Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Marnie is CEO of the nonprofit Gameday and author of the book series “Gameday in the USA.” She is also an inspirational speaker and philanthropist whose activities exemplify her passion for sports and helping others achieve their own victories. Marnie’s focus on football and philanthropy is part of her family heritage. She is the granddaughter of Leonard Tose, former owner of the Philadelphia Eagles and founder of the Ronald McDonald House, and the daughter of Susan Tose Spencer, the first female GM of an NFL team as well as legal counsel and VP for the Eagles.
