To make the process of putting such events together easier on you, Lindsay Street Hall offers the services of a Professional Event Coordinator to help clients manage every detail of their wedding, party or event from start to finish – even if it is happening somewhere else! How does it work? Your Event Coordinator:
•Meets with brides/couples to discuss wedding ceremonies. She knows you’ve been imagining this important day for much of your life and wants to help you bring it to life the way you’ve visualized it in your head. Whether you want to keep things simple or plan the most unique and elegant event in town, the Coordinator makes it possible.
•Meets with clients who are planning parties or other events to create a memorable event that reflects the tastes and personalities of the hosts, from chic to casual.
•Provides oversight of wedding rehearsals, ceremonies and receptions, including, but not limited to the usher and seating plan, processional lineup, first dance, cake cutting, toasts, grand entrance, and collecting wedding/reception items. For example, she prompts the band or DJ for special dances, assists with pictures before and after the wedding, and coordinates the bride and groom send-off.
•Maintains a budget after the event design meeting.
•Uses questionnaires to assist in designing your gathering and distributes checklists and important information.
•Draws on her experience to suggest innovative ideas and set a realistic timeline.
•Uses her established relationships with leading vendors (florists, musicians, photographers, etc.) to bring your vision to life. She also researches any other vendors you ask to be used so that your event is seamless and forever memorable. This includes negotiating vendor contracts and coordinating all vendor deposits/payments.
•Is available to answer everyone’s questions concerning scheduling so your guests and vendors know where they are expected to be and at what time.
•Gives you step-by-step guidance and access to discuss needs and details.
•Receives response cards and maintains a guest list.
•Assists with making hotel accommodations for out-of-town guests.
•Helps return all rented items after your event.
•Provides any additional event planning and coordination needed.
