nt and its teen brand Hush Teen Social are committed to offering quality entertainment to teenagers all across Northern Ireland, in safe and friendly environments.
*Our teenage events provide a safe and controlled environment for your teenagers to have fun, express themselves and most importantly socialize with their own peer group.
*The DJs, special guests or novelty acts we hire to perform at our events will always be age appropriate acts and suitable for a teenage audience.
*If we do provide meet and greets with celebrities/DJ's/special guests for photo opportunities, a minimum of two S.I.A security staff will always be present and at least one child protection trained staff member.
*Venues
The venues we hire ( unless other ways stated in writing before an event ) are in no way associated with A.S.K Event management or Hush Teen Social or any businesses or brands we use or may use in the future.
* Insurance
We are fully covered and insured to produce not only teen events but all other music events. Our specialized event management insurance allows us to produce these events in all types of premises,i.e. community, sports and town halls, indoor and outdoor.
* Our teen events are only for people who are aged between 11-15 years old,
unless stated beforehand in writing.
* Only confectionery, soft drinks and bottled water will be on sale at our event.
* Smoking is prohibited at any of our Events.
* Prior to an event taking place, we will inform the local Police/Ambulance and Fire Service of the dates that we will be operating an Event, with at least two weeks’ notice in writing given.
* Child Protection Policy
We recognize that the welfare of young persons who attend our events is paramount and that we have a duty of care. We will do everything we can to provide a caring environment in order for young people to be able to enjoy the entertainment we offer and be safe at our events. We will always have a minimum of one child protection trained officer on duty.
* Depending on size and capacity of event, we will always aim to have at least a minimum of 4 (“SIA”) security stewards on duty. All Companies with which we contract to provide Door Security Services will only provide Door Supervisors who are registered with the Security Industry Association (“SIA”) or equivalent body. In addition all such companies are obliged to comply with our service level standards and codes of conduct.
*There will be a minimum of one trained first aider at each event, and each venue will have a designated First Aid area.
* We reserve the right to carry out searches of customers attending these events. Searches will usually take place on the door and are primarily undertaken to prevent alcohol, ci******es and illegal substances being brought into the venue. Searches will be conducted in accordance with an approved searching policy. Should we have to refuse entry to any person or ask an attendee to leave an event for any reason, for example inappropriate behavior, the event manager on duty will be notified.
* We do not allow any customer over the age of 18 to attend our events, although we are committed to liaising openly with parents, guardians, carers and/or local authority. Only persons who are employed to work at or supervise the event will be present at the venue, other than in exceptional circumstances.
* We will:
Treat all young people with respect. The event manager on duty will make sure that staff who are working at the event are aware of their responsibilities in regard to our customers and in particular that they are expected to share any concerns about the welfare of a child/young person with the manager on duty as soon as possible.
* The Event Manager on duty will be responsible for:
Monitoring and recording concerns;
Making referrals to authorities in the case of any complaint without delay; and contacting the appropriate authorities to express their concerns, in circumstances where a young person has refused to remain within the safety of the club and it is thought that the young person is vulnerable because of drug / alcohol use or emotional difficulties.
*In circumstances where a young person has arrived at the event and it is thought that the young person is vulnerable because of drug / alcohol use or emotional difficulties, we will make all attempts to contact a parent or guardian, failing this we will contact the appropriate authorities.
* Photographs
We have our own in-house photographer who will takes pictures/videos of the young people at our event. These pictures and videos can be obtained by visiting our page after each event. By attending an event and entering the premises where our events are held, you give us consent to take your picture, record video footage, or sound for the purpose of the event Webpage, page and for use on any future advertising. Any person not wishing to have their picture taken or recorded must inform a member of staff prior to entry to a events. Re-admission
