Al Magzouba, people call her so. A fearless yet faithful soul lingered in an old woman’s body. One of the abnormal faces I stumbled upon while shooting my graduation project about mystical events. She is a state of religious ecstacy who is believed to have an elevated degree of faith, one that exceeds that of normal people.

The women in these photos are refugees living in Egypt performing a dance as a part of a community cohesion day organized by the UNHCR in 2018. These women are outstandingly amazing, they were performing in way that people were amused, performing a choreography that represents their culture, the heritage they carried with them all the way.
This performance was an actual representation that our culture and love to our countries as women lies within out hearts and souls, no matter how far we are from our homeland.
