I felt very lucky to see some new elk calves on a recent visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. This trio of young were romping around a small prairie near Lily Lake. Visit Estes Park
We visited the Lower Copeland Falls in the Southeast corner of Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a new trail for us and provided a beautiful view of the falls at the end.

Luke Cake Smash
Grandson Luke turned 1 last weekend and of course he had his own cake. It took him a few minutes to understand that it was Ok to “Smash” it any way he wanted but then he destroyed it like a champ!! I did a timelapse to speed up the project a little. #1stbirthday

I took photos of the eclipse about every 15 minutes and put the shots back to back in a video. I wish I could have watched the phenomenon in the line of totality but this was the best I could do from Central Nebraska. #eclipse #eclipse2024
