Veils and Cocktail is a wedding event supporting Pet Rescue by Judy. The bridal salon, Something Blue, closed it's doors and donated 19 dresses to PRBJ.

We will invite every Bride in Central Florida to come eat, drink and bid on these designer gowns! Pet Rescue by Judy is a 501c3 rescue organization dedicated to preventing euthanasia, increasing adoptions, spay/neutering, and pet care education. PRBJ is a "no-kill" shelter whose primary focus is to prevent any animal from the need to be "rescued." PRBJ provides temporary shelter, veterinary and re

habilitative services, and on-site care to abandoned cats and dogs, until acceptable adopters who can provide a permanent, responsible, and loving home can be identified. All proceeds garnered from this event will go directly to the funding of their planned Expanded Pet Rescue by Judy Shelter and Adoption Center. Veils and Cocktails event coordinators are excited to have the opportunity to auction off these Designer Wedding Gowns at a mere fraction of their retail value in an effort to help Pet Rescue by Judy realize their dream of constructing a new, expanded Shelter Facility and Adoption Center. The event will be held at Heathrow Country Club on Tuesday June 19, 2012 at 6pm. Brides and their guests will enjoy food, themed cocktails, and entertainment while being given the chance to try on the gowns which are available for auction prior to the start of bidding. Highlights of the evening include a fashion show featuring the dresses, multiple wedding appropriate vendors with advice and expertise to help you create the wedding of your dreams, each of whom will offer valuable prize giveaways. Will you be one of the fortuitous and philanthropic who will go home with a gorgeous new wedding gown for your special day and the warmth in your heart that comes from knowing that you made a lasting contribution to the quality of life for hundreds of local puppies and kitties.

Proceeds from this event will go toward the construction of our new shelter and low cost spay/neuter clinic. A $5 donation is suggested for those not bidding on gowns.
