The Renwick Mansion is Davenport's finest example of Italian Villa Style architecture. Built in 1877 by one of the cities most prominent lumber industrialists, William Renwick. Placed on four acres, in the St. Katherine's Historic District overlooking the Mississippi River. It features a rock faced limestone exterior and is elegantly appointed throughout the interior with magnificent woodwork. The

re are four grand reception rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, eight marble fireplaces, marble foyer, a three-story open staircase leading to eight beautifully furnished bedrooms, and a tower with panoramic views overlooking the river. It was totally restored in 1997 and is entirely heated and cooled by geothermal energy. The Renwick Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a stately and affordable site to host your special event.
