Lea’s much-loved No Boundaries Radio Show on Universal Rhythms offers an even broader window into her collection. Each episode finds her share many different sounds and stories from her eclectic collection as she joins the dots between the past, present and future. This well-informed knowledge and understanding of dance floor dynamics also play out in the music Lea makes, which has so far been spun by the likes of tastemakers such as Ron Trent, Joe Claussell or Kerri Chandler to name a few. Often combing sensuous vocals and analogue keys, thumping drums and well-crafted percussion, a Lea Lisa track is an authentic link to the essence of house music, but with an always fresh perspective. So far she has released on the highly respected likes of Chez Damier and Jorge Caiado’s Inner Balance, cult UK outlet Wolf Music and Phonica Records sub-label Karakul, with more to come. A real stamp of approval for her work comes in the fact that house pioneers Kerri Chandler remixed Lea’s Wolf Music release and Glenn Underground her Karakul release. Lea has also been a key part of respected digger Fred Portet’s France-based record shop InnerDisc since 2015. In a short space of time, she helped it grow into one of the most revered digging spots in the world. For many years, she was also programming the monthly Bliss residency and lining up superbly tasteful parties headlined by the likes of Alex From Tokyo, DJ Deep & Kerri Chandler.
