The time, consideration and patience that goes into every bespoke wedding dress is a craft and skill to treasure , something that you cannot replicate through a factory made gown.
A handmade bespoke wedding dress is not only unique to the beautiful bride who wears it but it also tells a story. It is a complete expression of a brides true self, her personality and often her creative thought process. I simply help to make this dream a reality , through my Knowledge and expertise of the craft.

Back to work today after a busy half term !!
Working on adding the final touches to a beautiful bespoke wedding gown for one of my brides next year. This intricately structured pleated belt will accentuate the waist on this particular gown. Made from a stunning silk Georgette that is sourced locally from @beckfordsilk and is also GOTS certified. Covered buttons are made from @jones.buttons , a long standing UK button supplier, and are also covered in sustainable silk.
Every bespoke wedding gown I make is lovingly handmade from start to finish by myself. I design all the dresses, cut the patterns, source the fabrics and construct the gowns.
My designs are made with a discerning woman in mind. The dresses themselves are modern and elegant in their silhouettes , whilst offering that touch of romance in the details.
Every gown I make is sustainable via the use of eco friendly silks / fabrics and laces. They are also made here in the UK and by myself in my lovely studio.

Made from eco silk ( GOTS certified) and recycled fabrics , laces that are made here in the UK, fabrics that have an FSC certification as well.
Made in a small UK based factory run by women and who operate with sustainable and ethical practices and values.

The beautiful Sienna gown .
Made in the most sumptuous stretch crepe this fabric moves and feels amazing on the body. What’s better is that it is an eco fabric. Made from an beautiful Italian tri acetate crepe , and a recycled stretch polyester lining.
I have two gowns in the current collection , Eleanor and Sienna made from this beautiful heavy crepe and suits the modern elegant aesthetic of a Gemma Leakey gown.
