Exciting News from CACNET!

We are thrilled to announce that CACNET has officially opened its new offices at Artscape, rent-free! This is a significant milestone for our network, and we are incredibly proud to share this moment with all of you.

The new space will serve as a central hub for collaboration, co-creation, and connection among our members. It’s more than just an office, it’s the beginning of what we envision as a Community Arts Centres Hub, where creative minds can come together, share resources, and build stronger, more impactful community arts initiatives.

While we are still in the process of finalizing systems and operational structures for the space, we’re actively engaging stakeholders to help us shape a sustainable and inclusive model that serves all members equitably.

This development represents a major step forward in our journey, and we’re confident that even more exciting opportunities lie ahead. We remain committed to growing the network in ways that empower artists, uplift communities, and create access to meaningful support.

Stay tuned for more updates and announcements as we continue to build this shared vision!

It was an amazing night to remember. Love spread the room with Women coming out with their beautiful attire for the occasion.
Our message was simple;

Parents! "stop using digital screens to be your nanny." 🧏‍♂️It is impacting our children's mental health.
And, the worst part of it, it's becoming an addiction even more addictive than drugs.

Children that have screens are more addicted to their phones than actual drugs. Judge for yourself. 🤷‍♂️You have to cut phones out of your children's life. Get back to the basics. Create a system in your home where they can draw, build or be creative. Play with your children. Be inspired by them. Have fun with your children. Don't be lazy and just give your children screens.

Lazy parenting is giving your children divices. It's all about not wanting to deal with the reality. Your Child should be your number one priority in life.
It's time for parents to wake up and do what's best for their children.
A big thank you to those who made it possible to be present, those who supported this initiative, those who purchased their books. Not forgetting Ester Care Projects for an amazing women's month event.

Yummy! Fried ripe plantain is a popular West African dish and also available in many Caribbean and Latin American countries. It's sweet, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Some people call it "sweet plantain chips" or "tostones maduros."
