Ensure you have adequate lighting!
Proper lighting is not something that can always be guaranteed. This depends on when you’re getting married, the time of the day, whether you’re inside or outdoors.. So many things play a role, but a decent photographer and videographer will be able to create the perfect lighting for your theme. Always ask your vendors for examples of their work to ensure you are happy with their standards and they fit your vibe

Have you always dreamed of a luscious Summer wedding or are you a wonderful Winter bride? Are you keen on evening cocktails or a coffee bar? Pick a date that suits your interests, your work schedule, your desired vendors’ availability as well as your family. Remember to allow enough time beforehand for your nearest and dearest to plan. If you have close family and friends that live abroad, they may need more time to book plane tickets and plan the trip.

The True Rock Venue has ample space to accommodate weddings all year round! Since the venue is booked out exclusively to you and your guests for the entire weekend, it is easy to make changes to the locations and décor, should the weather change for the worst.

Book your Suppliers!
It is highly unlikely that all your desired vendors will be available on your preferred date. Some photographers are booked up more than a year in advance. Once you’ve booked your venue, decide which of your vendors take priority and book them for your desired date. It’s a lot easier to find a hairstylist and makeup artist than what it is finding a perfect venue that ticks all your boxes. We highly encourage a visit of our beautiful bushveld venue before you make your final decision. We so look forward to meeting you and being a part of your special day.

Getting engaged is such a huge milestone in your relationship. Share the great news with your nearest and dearest before sharing the “ring selfie” on Instagram. We know you have a special relationship with your nail technician, but your future mother-in-law might just become a monster-in-law before you’ve even exchanged “I Do’s” if she feels like she’s the last to hear about the engagement.
