Hard to believe it's March already. We survived "Janu-worry" - then Valentines day came and went in a flash (thankfully), and our customers have certainly kept us busy (for which we are always grateful )
About 2 weeks back, I was requested to do a Boho arrangement. For those of you wondering what that is - here is an example.

Celebrating a birthday in style! A combination of peonies, roses, lilies, antheriums, gerberas, arranged in a floral tin container and 'topped off' with balloons. Needless to say - the recipient was over the moon.🥰🤩🥳

When one arrangement has so many different angles. We love this style, because it allows us to be super creative, and with the wonderful selection of flowers available at the moment, the options are endless!

Flowers are often overlooked as a mere 'luxury', whereas the difference that flowers can make to someone, is seldom understood. Having been in the florist industry for over 34 years, I have personally seen the 'power' of flowers. They help to remind someone they are loved, or offer some solace and comfort to someone in mourning. They bring the brightest smiles to the faces of those who receive them, be it for a birthday or just a "have a great day" gesture.
We have witnessed co-workers break out in squeals of delight when someone gets flowers. The beaming smiles of parents who's children are thousands of miles away when we deliver their order - and the list goes on and on.
Don't wait for a 'special occasion' to send flowers. Make someones day just because..........for no other reason, than to remind them how awesome they are - or that you are thinking of them.

Hard to believe these roses are 3 weeks old! 😲 Like everything else, you get different grades of roses. We endeavour to only buy Choice roses. (Occasionally, there will be disease on the roses, so they dont last as long). If provided with fresh water every second day - most roses should last at least 7 - 10 days in Winter.
We had a client phone us 3 weeks after Mothers day to tell us that she had just thrown out her flowers - and could not believe how long they lasted.

MOTHER'S DAY - 08 MAY 2022 - This year we thought we would do a few things differently. Instead of only focusing on flowers, we will be offering a selection of different things to choose from, like a pamper hamper, cheese and fruit platter, or cake platter.
