In February we hosted Hoërskool Sentraal and Primêre Skool Universitas - Tjokkies choir camps over two consecutive weekends. The choir director, Jo-retha Rossouw, with the help of her team did an outstanding job of getting the choirs on track for their competitions this year. Teambo also did some team building sessions with the children and a great time was had by all. We wish the choirs everything of the best for their year ahead!

We were excited to welcome Acer to our conference venue for their Winter Roadshow held on 8th June. Well done to the team from head office in Johannesburg for hosting a very informative and successful roadshow!

We welcomed the University of the Free State, Kovsies Health Department , back to The King's Haven after an absence of 3 years due to the lockdown. They were back for their annual Peer Education Camp from the 22nd - 24th April.

It is time to say goodbye to the Lereko Secondary School Matrics who have been with us for the month of November. They have been hard at work with classes and exams. We want to thank Mrs. Kibinye, their headmistress, and her dedicated staff for making the matric camp a great success. We wish the matrics all the best for the new journey that they are about to embark on.

After 50mm of rain last week our roses are looking beautiful. Bloemfontein is not called the City of Roses for nothing. All credit must go to my mom, Phyl Robb, who at 78 years old takes on the full time job of looking after our gardens. What a go-getter she is! She is also, together with my late father, Vernon, the founder of Phyl's Kitchen rusks which are sold country wide.
