Middelwater Farm is situated just off the N1 on the R30 Brandfort Road, approximately 30km outside of Bloemfontein.
Jacques and Ma**ca Strydom bought the farm in Nov 2017, with the vision of sharing this farm and farm life with Bloemfonteiners and people passing by.
MIDDELWATER FARM HOTEL
The Middelwater Farm Hotel is situated on the farm and has 3 luxury rooms available, each with the most beautiful views, but still also a short drive from Bloemfontein.
FUNCTION VENUE
There are two function venues available where birthday parties, kiddies parties, corporate functions, weddings and live performance shows can be hosted.
CHAPEL
There is a chapel for use, should a couple prefer to be married in a chapel instead of outdoors
TRAILS
There are running, walking and cycling trails for people to enjoy.
ANIMAL FARM HOTEL
There is an Animal Farm Hotel where children can learn more about animals such as donkeys, ponies, chickens, pigs, sheep etc. They are also able to get up close to them.
TRACTOR RIDES
Kiddies can enjoy tractor rides
GAME DRIVES
There are regular game drives on the farm where people are able to view a wide variety of wild animals such as Buffalo, Cheetahs, Leopard, Lions, Hyena, Oryx, Springboks, Giraffes, Zebras, Ostriches and many more.

There is craft beer and gin on tap.
JUNGLE GYMS
There are plenty of jungle gyms for children to play on
PARKING
There is plenty of parking as well as a bike park.
BE HUMAN FAMILY MARKET
The Be Human Family Market is hosted on a Saturday. At this market people can enjoy mouth-watering food stalls with freshly baked goods, a craft beer bar, gin on tap, coffee from Bloemfontein Coffee Roasting Co and live entertainment. Stalls are open from 09h00 until 16h00 and there are plenty of activities available.
The Farm Deli will open it's doors on 1st December 2018 and the butchery and community fruit and vegetable gardens will follow in 2019. 2019 will therefore bring an entirely new concept to the meaning โfamily day outโ. You will be able to enjoy entertainment for the whole family, pick your own fruit and vegetables from the community gardens, buy your meat supply from the butchery as well as get freshly baked items and preserves from the Deli.
And here we are today...sharing in the vision Jacques and Ma**ca Strydom had, when they originally bought the farm..."sharing the farm and farm life with Bloemfonteiners and people passing by."
