Think in pictures
Your wedding day will fly by, leaving you with beautiful memories and camera rolls of photos. When planning your special day envision every aspect of your wedding as a photograph.
- Clear the shot: Ask your pastor or officiant to step aside when you ‘kiss the bride’. This keeps the focus on the two of you and ensures a clean, beautiful shot.
- Confetti Kiss: We love a confetti shower during the first kiss. It adds a burst of colour and joy to your photos, making the moment even more magical.
Pro tip: choose biodegradable confetti for an eco friendly option.
- Think About the Backdrop: A picturesque backdrop can elevate your photos. Consider this for the ceremony and for the bridal table.
- First Dance: While dimming the lights create a beautiful atmosphere, it can make it challenging for your photographer to capture the moment in all its majesty. Talk to your photographer about what lighting works best for capturing your first dance. Opt for a low fog smoke machine instead of a normal smoke machine. It creates the ‘walking on the clouds’ effect and won’t interfere with your photos.
