Summer Place is the brainchild of Yvonne de Bruin. Her tasty “boerekos” soon became legendary and before long she catered for the majority of functions for East Rand municipalities, schools and even at private homes. Yvonne started Summer Place in 1992 and she and her family run the business with the help of dedicated staff that have been with them for many years.

“Our first priority is putting the customers needs first” says Yvonne. This venue with its pretty English country gardens has grown in popularity and success over the past 25 years and has been the dream venue for many couples who have said their “I do’s” there. Summer Places specializes in weddings, conferences, corporate functions, braais, birthdays, christenings and more. De Bruins Caterer’s also does functions at other venues or in the comfort of your own home.
