CHC Catering is owned by Wade Coetzer, who has been in the catering business for more than forty years. CHC Catering has become particularly successful in three key areas; business functions, special occasions (in particular weddings), and daily meals and function catering for business. We attribute our success-to-date to the absolute passion that we put into everything that we do. We have built a

reputation based on our ability to produce a quality product, with service supported by senior supervision at all functions. Clients know that the function will run smoothly and any snags experienced will be dealt with quickly and quietly. We have a philosophy of commitment and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done and it is a philosophy that has achieved the desired result. Our range of services is extensive, ranging from the delivery of snacks to the coordination and implementation of all the elements of large events (including the catering), ie:

- catering for business requirements; from the delivery of snack platters and boardroom meals to functions or events with full service
- catering for personal requirements; from small wedding receptions, 21st birthdays and anniversaries to large formal functions in a draped marquee with crystal and china. In all instances we are committed to:
- providing guests with generous portions of freshly prepared food
- the professional presentation of food
- a superior level of service
- smart professional staff who are efficient and easy to identify
- senior supervision at all functions
- providing advice on all aspects of the function, (ambience, theme)
- a flexible service with numerous options to meet the different needs and budgets

This combination allows our clients to relax and enjoy the function along with their guests knowing that everything is in hand and that nothing is too much trouble. We have developed numerous catering options to meet different needs, tastes, themes and budgets and will ensure that you enjoy generous portions of freshly prepared food, beautifully displayed and presented, and supported with a superior level of service. With the new trend in eating habits we have developed menus to accommodate vegetarian and halaal guests, so that everyone is individually catered for and made to feel special. First time CHC Catering has ever been involved in a Wine Pairing event . Was quite a challenge as the recipes given by Thornton were very specific and we had to be on our toes to get it on point ! And to add to the challenge was that I knew a large number of guests would be Indian who as we all know are all Curry Experts ! Needless to say we pulled it off and received high praise for the delicious fare we had on offer ! Anelle is an avid Woolies fan so for dessert all she wanted was Woolies Tiramisu Cake with Ice Cream and Berries . Absolutely beautiful autumn decor by Sarah Stewart .

We were privileged to cater at the Pietermaritzburg & Midlands Chamber of Business Lunch today! The guests enjoyed a flame-grilled Fillet of Beef with a stroganoff sauce, served with potato rosti, creamed spinach and oven-baked pumpkin. Dessert was a warm chocolate American brownie with whipped cream and a chocolate heart. Yummy

The theme was, "Truth or Lies."

Who do you think threw the furthest? It's amazing how far these homemade balls can go! Singakwenza teaches communities and preschools to make in their waste2toys workshops. Our team really enjoyed making some of these items themselves at our year-end party at Calderwood Hall.

A closer look at the incredible toys the ladies from Singakwenza teach communities and preschools to make in their waste2toys workshops. Our team really enjoyed making some of these items themselves at our year-end party at Calderwood Hall. Linda and Julie inspired us all and encouraged us to share what we have learnt. These toys cost nothing and develop key motor and cognitive skills! Watch out for more posts of our team in action. This project is a great reminder of what can be achieved with a little imagination. We recommend it as a great way to build a #team and would love you to support this amazing initiative.

We had a fantastic time at our year-end party with the Calderwood team Calderwood Hall. The Singakwenza team of Linda and Julie presented their waste2toys workshop. We learnt about the importance of play and how to make toys from recycled materials. It was inspiring and such fun. A great way to build a team and support this amazing initiative. We highly recommend the experience!
