Miss Vision 2016 Update Press Release
Good day
This notice serves to inform the public that the Miss Vision 2016 pageant is still on – going. This year’s Miss Vision 2016 is not only done by a private entity, there has been extensive consultations with the Vision Council every step of the way. Both parties found it necessary to hold the event in the actual year 2016; officially kick starting the Vision 2016 activities.
Auditions were held on the month of August 2015 with the sole purpose of having the grand finale on September 2015. Since the lady who is to be crowned has to exemplify all the vision 2016 pillars, to make the event encompass this, we found it prudent to have the event at a later date.
Our road has seen us meet ladies from different background which we appreciated very much. We appreciate all the ladies who auditioned. To all of you I say “YOU ARE ALL WINNERS IN OUR BOOKS.” It takes courage to sit in front of a strange and be personal. Thank you all. At the end of it all, we were to choose only 12 ladies, but due to the toughness of the competition, we ended up selecting 15 ladies as the Miss Vision 2016 finalists.
We hope you will continue to follow us and support the mandates of the Vision Council with Hopeful Souls. Together we can make a difference in our country. Further details will be revealed at the official Miss Vision 2016 Launch this October. Interested parties who wish to partner with us in supporting the Vision 2016 mandate, are welcomed to email us at [email protected] or call +267 72 348506 to receive official invites to the launch.
The team would like to take this opportunity to thank Hotel Labama, Amongi Café,Tonota Public Library (under MYSC), Francistown College Education (FCE), Botswana International University Of Science And Technology (BUIST) Maun Technical College for their support.
Yours sincerely,
