Effective immediately , Jeat Sports has full ownership and operational control of HWA, SAPW, and NWF, marking a significant milestone in African sports entertainment. The merger discussions, which began in *December 2023*, have culminated in a deal that is set to revitalize and unify the South African wrestling scene. Each brand will undergo a comprehensive revamp while preserving its unique identity, offering fans an enriched viewing experience with enhanced production values, compelling storylines, and a fresh wave of talent.

**Leadership and Vision**
Leading the charge into this exciting new chapter is Juandre Ward, who will serve as the Executive Content Officer for all live events under the Jeat Sports banner. Ward’s extensive experience and innovative approach will be instrumental in steering the company’s creative and operational direction. His leadership will ensure that Jeat Sports continues to deliver high-quality wrestling entertainment while driving the growth and development of talent across the continent.

The Academy’s current facility at Keywest Action Sports Centre will soon be complemented by a new training center set to open in *November* at the Springs Community Centre in the East Rand.
