As a fashion designer I have mostly specialised in Wedding gowns and evening wear over the last 26 years of which 19 years in my own business.

In 2023 the opportunity arose to open a Shop/Studio in collaboration with Blossoms & Belle.

We were blessed to become part of the heart of Protea Heights in Brackenfell. As our audience grew our business started evolving and with that came a slight name change.

House of Maria Bridal Couture will now be operating as House of Maria Collective

Book your custom wedding gown with the option to hire or buy.

Confirmed Bookings (Paid in dress deposit ) done from 14 January 2025 till 14 February 2025 will receive a free plain cathedral length veil and a garter set ( consisting of 2 lace garters)

How does it work?

1. Book a 60min Consultation. Yes we do charge a R250.00 consultation fee.
Your consultation is with our in- house designer. She'll do a figure and colour analysis and assist with trying on sample dresses. You will be provided with a design and quotation via WatsApp within 24hours of consultation.

2. Secure your booking by paying in required deposit by quotation cut off time and signing paperwork. ( Hire or purchase agreement for custom made gown.)

3. Your free plain veil (Cathedral) and garter set will match your dress colour and design.

4. Brides that have their own ideas are welcome. We want to make your dream dress with you. So finding the right style, fabric and finishings for your gown is important to us.

5. We are now open for custom wedding gown bookings from 1 April 2025

Our House of Maria brand is growing. We have added accessories to our range and started with " polymer clay" earrings.

These earrings are hand made by our designer using clay from a local small business that make their own polymer clay.

Our hardware (studs and earring posts) are nickel free but we also have stainless steel and 18k gold plated and clear plastic findings available on order.

These earrings make ideal gifts and stocking fillers.
