The Upside Down An intimate night of slow rolling grooves and electric rhythms. Somewhere, between spaces and dance floors, exists a place called The UpsideDown.

Things don't move fast there, but they certainly don't feel slow. Blood rushes to your head when you are UpsideDown, it oxygenates your being. Imagine your feet walking on clouds with the earth as your sky. Here the dark night reflects the life-giving luminescence of the day, where resonant frequencies shine as harmonies connecting with the underground. There is no rush to get anywhere in the Upsi

deDown, the beats reflect this sentiment with the downtempo pace in the space within which it exists. With life moving at a rapid pace around us, we aim to use the space and time to connect and dance.

They have featured at a number of the recent local festivals such as Return to the Source, Wolfkop, Retreat Yourself, Lost City, Pod Karoo and Pangea.

As one of the igniters of the house and techno scene in CT with the popular Kinky Disco parties, his DJ sets consistently impress with style and structure.

His fascination with dance music began in 1999 and today it is still a lifestyle for Kanan K7.
As a DJ he played some of the main dance floors on the global circuit, such as the legendary clubs on the island of Ibiza Amnesia & Space Ibiza and Tomorrowland in Belgium. Selective and eclectic, the Brazilian seeks a sound linked to Techno, House, Indie and Disco. His unique and innovative style in building his DJ Sets led him to open shows for artists Tale Of Us, Dj Tennis, Roman Flügel, Jennifer Cardini. Whether late at a club or early at a festival, Kanan K7 brings the right and unique energy to each situation through its playlists and intelligent mixes.
