Our beautiful intimate wedding of Brandon & Mari captured perfectly with a wave breaking behind them! We can't wait for more teasers! C'mon Lindy Truter Photography the anticipation is killing us!

So, um, I think I pulled a calf muscle at Wednesday's wedding running up and down the beach and sand dunes the whole day. haha :)

We spent a lot of time waiting for the perfect big wave to smash against the rocks. There were many sets of small waves, and as soon as I'd turn my back to change position or look away- a massive one would hit, and I'd miss the shot. (Sneaky little buggers!)
Anyhow, Brandon and Mari patiently stood around waiting and looking pretty,and then this guy eventually landed...making the wait well worth it :)

A more perfect beach wedding we could not have asked for yesterday for Brandon & Mari's beautiful intimate wedding at The White House in Yzerfontein. What a treat for the international guests to experience such a delight as well as being amazed by the random ostriches merely passing through the garden. Congratulations Brandon & Mari, it was a pleasure being a part of your special day. Here is merely an amateur glimpse of their big day.

"Jai Ho!!!!" At long last we are able to share our amazing Indian Wedding with you!!

When Yusavia first called me about her destination wedding in Cape Town, I was thrilled. Not only because it was another wedding to be planned, but because it was an Indian Wedding! I was in my element. Planning an Indian Wedding was on my bucket list of weddings to plan and I was thrilled! Although it wasn't a 3 day affair with 1000 guests, there was still more than enough effort put into the whole planning process as if they had had 1000 guests.

When I first met the couple on their trip to Cape Town, I though wow, what a beautiful young trendy couple they are. The just glowed from ear to ear and were amazing to work with.

There was no beating around the bush with this blue chip couple. They had an exact idea of what they wanted and it was only the best - we were thrilled to deliver.

We couldnt have asked for a more perfect wedding day 3 days before Christmas. With the chaos of service providers setting up 1 full day before the wedding to ensure perfection all round the weather delivered itself perfectly. The cultural wedding ceremony was set up on the lawns of the venue and was a beautiful sight to witness. What did intrigue me though, was the fact that the guests could just wander about, have a snack, have something to drink while the ceremony is on the go. Apparently this is quite normal due to the lengthy ceremony.

The guests were catered for in every way, from delightful canapes, to signature cocktails, caricature artists, photobooths, yummy treats and the list goes on.

All the guests were dressed to the T, the ladies looking gorgeous in their Sari's and the men dashing in their trendy suits and shades - it was as if Bollywood film starts had come to town. The bridal party looked stunning in their ombre sari's, but the 2 that stole the show were the bridal couple. Yusavia looked amazingly beautiful in her red wedding Sari and changed into her beautifully beaded turquoise outfit for the reception.

From the bright colours of the ceremony to the soft pastel of elegance and romance we transformed the venue into something beautiful.

The couple seated at the elegantly luxurious "sweetheart" table couldn't look happier - they were just too beautiful.

What a wedding, what a party!!!

Zane & Robin's beach wedding at Strandkombuis 2 weeks ago faced us with many challenges as the weather did not play it's part. The day however turned out to be the most relaxed, happiest and festive of celebrations to date especially when you throw the jewish cultures into it, because boy...do they know how to paarrttyy!! Zane looked absolutely beautiful and wore one of the most simple, elegant, classy and sophisticated dresses I have ever seen. It was breathtakingly different - just love it! Will be sharing their wedding with you soon!

Wow, Lindy Truter Photography you have captured Lara & Jason beautifully! I can't wait to share their wedding.

After shooting this weekends wedding I can attest to the fact that God is good! :) Look, It is one thing to have a really mean tummy bug, but it is another thing to have a really mean tummy bug, the day of shooting a wedding. ;)
To be honest with you, there were parts of Saturday that I was feeling so ill, I didn't know if I was going to make it. But God, faithful as he is, strengthened me and carried me through it all- and on top of that blessed me with one of the coolest, godliest couples ever, in glorious, golden light!
Jason and Lara are such a treat to be around- and boy! are they easy to photograph?! What a pleasure working with them.

3 days before Christmas we had the beautiful Indian Wedding of Yusavia and Shaun at Webersburg in Stellenbosch. It was a beautiful wedding filled with beautiful people and our hard work paid off. Finally we are able to share the lovely Dominic & Jessica's wedding with you
which is long overdue.

The long lasting friendship of two people who became best friends and fell in love begins here. Jessica & Dominic went to the same school in the same year but never had any of the same classes or really spoke to each other. 4 years after school they met up at a club in Long Street, a mutual friend invited Jess and friends to Dominic's birthday celebrations, they started chatting for the first time and ended up having a long conversation about traveling. The weeks that followed they kept seeing each other at mutual friends events and chatting away. Until on the 18 October Dominic asked Jess out. 3 months after that we went overseas together for 6 months of working and traveling. 6 years to the day after Dom asked Jess out they got married. Jessica was a blushing bride with her bridesmaids faffing over her all day and Dominic looked very stylish and trendy alongside his groomsmen in their navy blue suits. Lot's of tears flowed that evening in the beautiful venue of Nooitgedacht set up in a romantic vintage style, but there were lots of laughter and special moments too. It was a wedding filled with lots of love enjoyed by close family and friends. What a celebration they had! Dominic & Jess we wish you many blessings for your future life together! Congratulations to you both, it was an honour to be a part of your special day!
