Born and raised in Polokwane, Seshego, South Africa, his early love of music was fuelled by artists his brothers listened to – the likes of Hugh Masekela, Chicco Twala, Luther Vandross and Barry White. He started to DJing during his late teens and had to put music aside to follow his second love of being and IT Technician. During 2012 He answered his call for music and started revamping his musical ambitions with Mixtapes, which were warmly received by the masses at large. EXPOSURE
A very active member of his local community, Mpho is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. Currently He is The Resident DJ at Olwethus Lounge, allocated in the small growing township of Delft near the out skirts of Cape Town. His Goals for the next 5 years are to be established in the Music Industry, a Recording Artist and inspiring up and coming future Artist/DJ’s about Music.

GOALS
Playing 3-5 paying gigs a month, in order to expand his brand and form a network with other artist that will road map his vision of achieving his goals in the music industry. Thru his production and sheer art of mixing different genre into one set, the ability to produce hip hop and house beats is a skill he has acclaimed, turning that into an asset and attraction for production houses. In progress of establishing his own Entertainment Company, he feels a year or two of experience and knowledge will help build a better understanding on how using his Company will be better and relevant to inspire and assist masses thru his own company. In the years since he settled in Cape Town, he managed to get one (1) or two (2) gigs a month. With a variety of local Cape Town Artist/DJ’s, his network base has improved and allowed him to be featured at different venues as a guest for e.g. Club 7, White House Lounge, Afro Lounge, Cubana Sea Point to name a few.His Company De Maestro Entertainment has two events under their belt.
