EMPOWERING PEOPLE TOWARDS SELF-REALISATION
Sir Lowry's Pass, Western Cape: The village collaboration announces the launch of POSITIVE IMPAINT, a new initiative in Sir Lowry's pass village. Positive impaint is a collaboration between renowned international artist Charlie Vettori and residents of Sir Lowry's pass village. It offers a new way for villagers to see their world and to address social ills such as drugs, gender-based violence, and animal welfare.

"Sir, Lowry's pass village is a restless place," says Ms. Vettori of Positive Impaint, "By using villages ideas and slogans , people feel they're represented , it's a way of giving a voice to the voiceless

A hearfelt thank you to each and every trader for your hard work, wonderful items and for making Sunday's market possible. There was so much enthusiasm and excitement among our lovely egg hunters and their awesome parents. The Easter Bunny had been hard at work and every single egg was found. The activities and water slide was a huge success and the weather was just right. John Masser did a great job of keeping everyone entertained with his laid back music. Lastly, thank you to the visitors that supported us on Sunday!

Thanks to Byron for arranging the Garden Club breakfast at Knorhoek, not our first and probably not our last. What a lovely morning we all had, the air was full of excitement, besides looking forward to the breakfast as most of us had not eaten, we could not wait to see everyone's Easter Bonnets. Even our men participated.
The wind was strong outside but we were very cosy inside.
The staff were friendly and helpful, they also kept to the theme and wore their bunny headgear.
The breakfast was filling and good. The staff walked around checking everyone's hats. How they managed to choose is beyond me. Everyone put in a lot of effort. The winners were as follows: Yvonne, Beverley and Vivienne taking the first prize. So lovely to mingle and chat with those at your table. I must conclude it was a morning well spent.
