One major trend is the iconic champagne tower! It’s not only elegant but also a lot of fun, making it the perfect way to kick off your canapés or to serve for the first toast.

Fun fact: Champagne towers actually date back to the 17th century, when the British developed stronger glass for the coupes. It’s fascinating to see how this timeless tradition continues to add a touch of glamour to celebrations today!

Our in house semi-nude wedding cake with a top tier of fluffy vanilla sponge cake, generously coated with a luscious white chocolate ganache, and complemented by a vibrant passion fruit (grinadalla) compote.

The cake also includes rich chocolate sponge bace tier, filled with a velvety chocolate créma for an indulgent twist.

When we’ve been approached by our Netherlands couple the main thing was to have two spaces and in some way creating two events on one day.

was the ceremony destination with the most gorgeous views of Hout Bay’s, scenic views and the crash of waves which was ended with a light lunch with a small family group.

From there the bridal party continued reception celebrations with the back drop of Table Mountain, VnA Waterfront, the iconic Bo Kaap and the rest filled with the architecture of Cape Town and it’s night lights.

Simplistic was the main goal so that the environment had chance to bloom in volumes.

Table wear as natural as possible, crystal to catch the light trough the trees and rough lines to complete the look.

Gypsophila or better known as baby’s breath have been around since forever. As a little boy I remember that this was the most common filler in any flower bouquet and then … just sort of disappeared.

But to use then nowadays as a single, it gives that feeling of lacy , lush and elegance to a reception area and nothing much other than that is needed.
