Over the weekend, along with our stunning vintage-style Bento cake, we also included a delightful batch of carrot cupcakes to complete the celebration.
These moist, flavorful carrot cupcakes were the perfect complement to the heart-shaped cake, filled with all the goodness you’d expect—hints of pineapple, and the crunch of pecans and walnuts. Each cupcake was beautifully frosted and added an extra touch of sweetness to the occasion.

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of creating a heart-shaped Bento cake with a beautiful vintage-style design for a very special 30th birthday celebration. The cake itself was a decadent carrot cake, one of my personal favorites.
What makes my carrot cake extra special is the burst of flavors in every bite. Along with the rich spices, you’ll find delicious chunks of pineapple, complemented by the crunch of pecans and walnuts—truly a delightful combination!
I’m proud to say the birthday girl was overjoyed with her cake and even indulged in it for breakfast (because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love cake for breakfast?).

That’s why today’s THROWBACK is so special to me. I’m taking it back to May of this year when I had the incredible opportunity to be interviewed on the radio. It was a massive moment for me—a milestone that I’ll cherish forever. I started Kitchen Something in 2017, and I’ve seen my fair share of ups and downs. I still do. But that radio interview?
