Whether you’re planning your first conference or your 50th, these five tips could save you time, budget… and your sanity!

The Real Work Behind the Curtain

What really happens before the lights dim, the keynote speaker walks on stage, and the delegates settle in? A whole lot of planning, coordination—and a touch of M.I.C.E magic. 🪄

Behind every major conference is a symphony of moving parts:

✈️ Coordinating international flights, arrivals, hotel bookings and transfers
🎤 Managing venue setups, sound checks, and lighting
📋 Preparing registration systems, conference bag packing and name badges
📦 Setting up exhibition layouts and branding displays
📞 Troubleshooting last-minute changes (because there are always last-minute changes!)

And then…the keynote speaker or chairperson walks on the stage, and the rest is a blur.
