The Gourmet Chef was launched in 2006 by Mark Hoberman after a successful career in some of Cape Town’s top hotels and restaurants. It was Mark’s dream to bring honest, elegant simplicity to his clients private homes, corporate events and weddings. As a result of COVID-19, The Gourmet Chef has launched a range of some of his signature rustic home delivered meals. His client feedback has been that they taste amazing and the portions are very generous.

🌿✨ What a magical celebration at Quoin Rock Wine Estate! In collaboration with the incredible team at Celebration Theory, we had the honor of catering a truly unique wedding experience. From a sophisticated high tea and bountiful harvest table to a live sushi bar that wowed guests, it was a feast for the senses! The day culminated in a vibrant food market experience featuring a gourmet braai and live food bars, bringing a deliciously interactive touch to this unforgettable occasion. 💍🍴

We really love what we do... today we cooked a Gourmet barbeque for one of our clients at their stunning home. We were spoilt for choice in their fabulous herb garden!
