Triple M Entertainment Events | Production | Management | Publicity
http://www.triplement.com Triple M soon gained a reputation for delivering world-class productions.

Driven by a passion for music on every conceivable level, Triple M Entertainment founder Martin Myers has been living his dream through his myriad of Local and International Clients for 27 extraordinary years. From eventing, sound and lighting production – through to talent management, PR and Publicity, Myers has seen and done it all! Today, Triple M Entertainment, known affectionately as Triple

M, offers entertainment solutions by building relationships that extend way and beyond any brief. By example, Triple M’s longest standing client, Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse, joined Myers after a chance meeting at a show at Greenpoint Stadium, way back in 1985. “He was the first person I spoke to,” Myers recalls. “At that point I was merely a fan of his music”. Since then the two have travelled all over the world and effected positive change at every opportunity. From that night on, Triple M has been – (and still is!) – a living, breathing business that quickly started attracting a diverse and dynamic range of Clients. The launch of mobile discos delivered both a professional and tailor-made playlist for the Clients and included the conceptualisation, set build and running of upmarket parties across the country. The South African music industry also got wind of Triple M’s growing influence and conscripted Myers to manage all Public Relation aspects of both theirLocal and International release schedules for BMG and then later Sony Music. For 17 years, Myers’ unwavering attention to detail and professionalism made him an indispensible favourite and must-have expert for the global brand in the Western Cape. With a wealth of music knowledge and clear ability, the Company, with Myers’ direction, has and continues to work with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry such as – Soweto String Quartet, Vusi Mahlasela, Lira, Seether, John Legend, Pink!, N’Sync, Lisa Stansfield, Natasha Bedingfield, Freshly Ground and Goldfish – artists and bands that have experienced, and benefited from his commitment to delivering only the very best. The South African fashion industry is another area where Triple M has effected change by delivering a variety of highly personalised services. In 2007,Myers travelled to Paris Fashion Week as Gavin Rajah’s personal music manager, a privilege he was awarded after years of working with both Rajah and fashion producer Mary Reynolds “I have always made it my business to understand the business I’m in”, Myers asserts. Understanding the brief of our Clients ensures Triple M oversees the implementation, liaison and planning of the Event from conceptualisation through to successful ex*****on. Triple M’s hands-on approach to all they do is what separates them from any other out there. Recently Triple M welcomed Change Management Specialist, Razia Myers, to the fold – an inclusion that swells the collective corporate and commercial business knowledge and expertise of the business to an impressive 42 years. From concept pitch, to playing out the after party, Triple M not only works to a brief, but also looks to grow each event into a unique experience. Triple M is also the company responsible for the successful launch of South Africa’s first, and only, independent annual music conference, Music Exchange, launched in 2009, and already in its third year. The 2012 three-day conference of this country’s biggest and most influential names in the musicindustry converge to share and debate the state of play – all with a view to influence the future of music in all its many facets. Past guest speakers include a host of highly respected Local and International speakers on board including Charles Goldstuck, the President and Chief Executive Officer ofTouchTunes Interactive Networks, and formerly the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Bertelsmann Music Group (U.S.), a division of Sony Music Entertainment, one of the world’s leading music companies. This year(?) “Nick” Motsatse, the Chief Executive Officer of the Southern African Music Rights Organisation, Limited by Guarantee (SAMRO), Charles Goldstuck and others responded to Myers invitation without hesitation and imparted their valuable knowledge enthusiastically. If there’s a reason to congregate, Triple M will not only justify the idea, but turn each and every function or event, big or small, into something simply exceptional.

Charlie Void adds carefree and chic disco spice to “Downtown”, his intoxicating 2025 renaissance.

Stream/Listen to “Downtown” (Remastered 2025) HERE

https://charlievoid.bandcamp.com/track/downtown-remastered-2025

This disco-pop anthem, inspired by nightlife adventures in Cape Town and Paris, celebrates Charlie Void’s inaugural 2025 reveal.
Combining explicit, catchy lyrics and melody with a complex arrangement, including three key changes – unusual for a traditional disco track, Charlie challenges and evolves the much-loved legacy genre with a fresh 2025 punch of positive energy much needed in the world.

At its core, “Downtown” celebrates freedom, connection, and the magic of city life, all the things we aspire to. Now you can get your fill, all within the two-minute, 38-second slice of pop genius.
Written and produced by Charl Van Blerk (AKA Charlie Void), every element of the track was developed under the Void moniker, from the lyrics and melody to the chords and overall production, ensuring the song reflects his unique creative vision.
Recorded at Golden Bear Records, USA, Charlie oversaw every detail of its production, blending organic instrumentation with a modern disco-pop arrangement.

Think bass guitar, inspired by Wang Chung’s Everybody Have Fun Tonight, adding a dynamic groove infused with a Wurlitzer keyboard sound, bringing warmth and a vintage disco vibe.

Add the French-inspired dance break, a standout moment that blends chic sophistication into the song, and you comfortably settle into earworm territory.

Specifically inspired by Lady Gaga’s cover of Chic’s “Want Your Love” for Tom Ford’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection, the break evokes images of runway struts, glamorous chaos, and indulgent fun.

Charlie concludes that the French disco-inspired dance break in “Downtown” (Remastered 2025) transports you by design. He shares that whether you’re strutting a runway, showing off your beautiful legs in couture, or falling back onto plush cushions in a club, giggling with friends, Yves Saint Laurent ci******es in hand, and reeking of Chanel No. 5, you’re wrapped in that glamorous chaos.

“It’s about indulgence, joy, and the freedom that comes from drinking more champagne than your doctor would recommend. That’s what “Downtown” is: carefree, chic, and a little reckless.”
