Melkbos DJ and Sound Hire is geared to assist you with your event entertainment needs and requirements. From Speakers, Amps, Microphones, Lighting and DJ Hire, to Music planning and preparation for your target audience and atmosphere, we pay special attention to make sure you and your guests get the best service possible when it comes to entertainment. We can either set you up with some great soun

d/lighting equipment for your party, or you can make life that much easier by hiring us to come do the music too! We are best at rocking at Weddings, Corporate functions, parties and pretty much anywhere with some people, a dancefloor and a space to make the music go bang and the heads go bop. If it’s got a title or a genre we can cater for it. Commercial, Dubstep, Drum and Bass, House, Psy Trance, R&B, Langarm, Sokkie, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, & Rock are a few examples but no stress, the list can go on. Let us have a squizz at the space/venue you have in mind for the event and we can determine what system will work best. On top of the basics, there’s also mics, disco lighting and a smoke machine itching to be used. Where do we operate? Anywhere in the Western Cape (Transportation costs will apply according to distance travelled)

- Collection & Strike of rentals
- Private DJ Lessons by Mr DJ Ross himself. As a resident DJ at the Thirsty Turtle 3 days a week, Ross has worked hard to gain the experience he needs to be the best at what he does. After a tragic accident in ’02, Ross lost his eyesight in a collision, and has since studied Sound Engineering to pursue his career in Sound Tech & DJ’ing. He’s gained so much experience in the Wedding Industry and is quite well known in his area, and thanks to his trusty sense of hearing and touch, he pays special attention to insure a secure setup and a solid set.
