Spitbraai by Monique caters for weddings, private functions and corporate functions at your venue, work or home, even on ships, such as the SA Navy battleships. LAMB, PORK, SUCKLING PIG, or BEEF is spit-roasted to perfection on site, with a closed state

-of-the-art gas spitbraai. Traditional BBQ and Potjiekos, and Fish braai is our treat. Menu options complete with sauces, breads, vegetables, starches, salads and desserts awaits you. Entertain at home or the office with delightful finger food menus, a variety of platters are available. We set up, serve and clear the venue, and provide knowledgeable and professional waiter- and bar service. Spitbraai by Monique now celebrates 19 years of success, backed by Monique's 30 years' extensive culinary and confectionery experience.

Our Story

Spitbraai by Monique started with a passion for tender and tasteful lamb on the spit.

We started small, but it seems that Cape Town does enjoy meat, and value our high standards in service and quality.

We offer a variety of catering services; Spitbraai, Barbeque, Finger foods, @Home entertainment meals, and VIP and plated dinner service. Our team is highly trained and efficient.We endeavor to ensure that your gathering is a great success. Most importantly, we do not compromise on service and quality, therefore we prepare all our food ourselves.

We are based in Cape Town Peninsula, and travel all around Cape Town.
