Sweet, fun and incredibly ambient setup for Rajeev and Nikita's . Crisp white linen and white pillar candles in plain glass cylinders served as the perfect base for yellow 💛, cerise 🩷 and tangerine 🧡 colour-blocked napkins and gold metallic accents. Thank you to the remarkable team .concepts.and.designs for executing this vision.

Side-by-side Grah Shantis. We've been doing this fairly often for our destination weddings and it works well, even though this is usually a puja that the bride and groom perform separately.

If you don't have a birdcage cake stand, is it even a high tea? 😄

Traditional Indian savoury snacks (think dhokla sandwiches, dhai puri, plump Punjabi samoosas, and proper masala chai) paired with the melt-in-your-mouth pastries and heavenly mini-cupcakes à la - because who doesn't love a fusion menu? 😉

We felt this would be the perfect little treat between our couple's late morning Ganesh Puja + Pithi/Haldi and their evening GrahShanti/Santhak, which would be followed by a full, traditional, North Indian dinner.

Grah Shanti High Tea 🌸

How cute!? The addition of a parasol was actually a delightful little surprise!

kept spraying their arrangements to protect these precious blooms against February's heat. Before they left, they placed parasols in the vases to shade the flowers against the summer sun.

The plan was to remove the parasols just before guest arrival. But the more we looked at them, the more we realised how quirky and utterly cute they were. It was styling perfection and we couldn't stop smiling every time we walked past.

It really is all in the details. It's the details that surprise and delight.
