A domestic worker and single mother of four has bagged a degree🤩

Mponegele Jane Thole graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences and Social Services from Unisa.

The perseverant mother plans on pursuing her honours and, with that qualification, can work as an industrial psychologist in professional or corporate settings.

Hello, I bet you have just arrived home and you are tired after a long hard day at work! Your kids are nagging you for food and you haven’t even given supper a thought yet. Then there’s still the school meeting that you have to attend, the soccer uniform you have to wash for tomorrow’s soccer match, dropping your child off at extra maths classes, the visit to your relative/friend in hospital, homework with the kids, etc.
Well, let me relieve you of some of your stress.
My meals are strictly halaal. I cook wholesome, yet affordable meals daily using only A Grade Meat and Chicken, the freshest of Fish and Vegetables and the choicest of Spices.
You save valuable time, no need to dash to the shops or butcher after work to stand in long queue’s at the checkout counter. You save on electricity and water; no dirty pots and pans etc. This is how it works:
I prepare a menu for the week and whatsapp, email or inbox it to you. You choose what you would like to eat and place your orders by 7pm the night before. You either collect your food or join our delivery service to have your meal delivered to your door.
Loadshedding…. No problem. I cook on gas so your meal will always be deliciously warm for you to enjoy.
An example of a two week menu
Monday
A choice of a piece of Grilled Stockfish or Crumbed Chicken breast served with mash, steamed veg and sweet pumpkin
Tuesday
Tender lamb pieces in a carrots and peas stew served with white basmati Rice and a cucumber and onion sambal
Wednesday
Mince Lasagna served with a green salad and a garlic roll
Thursday
Vegetable Curry served with white flour Roti and a tomato sambal
Friday
Mac and Cheese served with tender pieces of Tikka chicken as a side dish

Specific Dietary Requirements e.g Renal, Diabetic, Vegetarian Diets etc. catered for on request.

Monday
Fresh Fish friikadel served with red lentil Dahl and white rice
Tuesday
Cottage Pie served with two steamed vegetables
Wednesday
Chicken Curry served with White Basmati Rice and carrot sambal
Thursday
A Vegetable hotpot with Tender Beef pieces served with white rice
Friday
Steak Curry and Roti served with a pineapple sambal

Our menus change every week. All meals range from between R30 and R35 per meal.
Roasts are R40 per person weekends only
We also sell Lamb/Chicken Akni and koesisters on a Sunday as well as a variety of cakes and home baked bread and rolls.
We cater for any function big or small, bulk cooking and savoury platters as well as fancy and character cakes for any occasion.
