The Pedestrians are a young, multi-genre band based in Cape Town. The band has many accolades that supersede their fresh looks and unique yet relatable sound. It was exactly this factor that paved the way for them and separated them from the other participants when they not only won the band category but came out as overall winners of Suidoosterfees. The band also gave birth to seven original tracks when they staged their own production called Viva D6 Queens, written and directed by Quanita Adams in 2016.
