When our amazing friends from Smitsfield Venue asked us for a few photos of their new space, we knew we were in for a treat. We did not expect the level of absolute perfection and the wonderful attention to detail. The peaceful atmosphere can not be explained in just a few images, you have to go and visit for yourself.

November 2021 het ons begin date en ons verhouding het baie vinnig verdiep. Ons harte draai rondom ons geloof, ons diere, ons mense en die natuur. Ons geniet die spanwerk van wat n verhouding verg, van kos kook tot kar stoot as dit moet... Twee jaar later, op n bootvakansie saam met sy familie in Frankryk, het hy my gevra om te trou. Ek het van niks geweet nie en het eers die laaste uur begin besef iets is besig om te gebeur na dit voorgekom of hy en sy ma konkel met hulle rugsakke. Daarna kon my oog nie blokvormige voorwerp in sy pouch mis nie. Sy idee was om n piekniek te gaan hou in n parkie nie vêr van n kasteel wat ons die dag besoek het in Carcasonne nie. Toe ons ons piekniek plekkie vind, het hy met die idee gekom om n blind-tasting te doen met ons snacks. Aangesien ek teen die tyd sterk vermoed het wat gebeur was ek nie baie lus vir die speletjie nie, maar nie te min. Toe hy klaar met die speletjie en my blinddoek toe is hy op sy een knieg met n ring in die hand. Ek kon natuurlik nie anders as “ja” sê nie...

We met at a Christian Baptist summer camp in 2009, and as shy, very young teens, we were each others ‘camp crush’. Throughout the years, we would run into each other now and then, until eventually, the Lord brought us together as a couple in His perfect timing. We love our story, not because it is incredibly sweet filled with heaps of laughter, joy and unforgettable memories (though it's the most precious in our very biased opinion), we love it because it points to the faithfulness and redemptive power of Jesus Christ. It is a story which God continues to write - a story that is exquisite, and a story that has God's love and mercy woven all through it. Through our relationship, the Lord brought both of us back to Him, and we became true believers of Jesus Christ and continue to serve Him each and everyday - Praise the Lord! The Lord has been so good to us, and we are so blessed that we get to move onto this next season of our lives together, with Christ being the centre of it, and we pray that His name will be glorified through it all because He is worthy of our everything!
