Directions below: My favourite road from CT/Stellenbosch/Paarl area to the farm is Slanghoek Road - it is a gorgeous and quiet scenic route.
Directions from CT: Drive to Wellington, take the R46 (BEFORE you enter Wellington) and drive 35minutes till you see the first Wolseley turnoff. Take the turnoff to the right to the right and drive 5-6km till you see a green sign: Platvlei, Speenvlei, tweespruit. Turn left and follow the tarred farm road for 2km till you see Platvlei/Orchard stay's gates.
Directions from CT: Scenic Slanghoek road. From CT drive through Hugenote tunnel. Drive through the mountains till the road becomes one with the oncoming traffic. Take the Rawsonville turnoff. Drive a few km's till you see the Slanghoek turnoff towards your left. Turn left into Slanghoek valley and drive for 20minutes, over the low bridge till you get to a T-junction. Turn left and drive for 10 minutes till you see the Tulbagh/Wolseley turnoff. Turn left here and drive for 2km till you see a green sign: Platvlei, Speenvlei, Tweespruit. Turn right here and follow the tarred farm road till you see the Platvlei/Orchard stay's gates.
