Our first askARTy campaign was a huge success! We couldn't be happier to see ARTy in action at this year's BMW M Fest.

ARTy, our friendly WhatsApp Bot and Broadcaster, was launched on the 5th of October with a broadcast to guests invited to all BMW M Fest events leading up to the public days over the weekend. With a total of 824 interactions, the bot provided answers to all frequently asked questions, and guests could access their online registration and were able to chat with us directly through Live AgentChat.

We were able to cut down on that long no-one-will-ever-read aide memoire by simply adding ARTy's QR code to the mailer.

GOOD NEWS UPDATE - We have finally secured a direct communication channel through which to engage with the Minister and his team.

The Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa, has set up a Ministerial Advisory Team (MAT) for the creative and cultural sector who will advise the Minister on how to deal with the plight of creatives during COVID-19.

In an effort to find amicable solutions, working with the sector, the Minister established MAT comprising of leaders in various portfolios of the creative sector.

The SA Events Council and SACIA’s Technical Production Services Association are represented on this task team by Sharif Baker in the role of Convener.

Marisa Buys and I are so extremely proud of what we have accomplished with Ovation ART. We started this venture together in 2008 and it is hard to believe it is 12 years later. We have done some great and not-so-great events, but one thing for sure is that we have met amazing people along the way. Built strong working relationships and friendships!
Sorted Design Agency, is one of those long-standing work/friend-ships, that we hope will still float for many years to come.
