Om koel en kalm te bly in enige situasie, en om nie groter as die game te wees nie.

9. Wie het jou geinspireer om die game te speel?

Soos elke jong speler wat daarna streef om sy provinsie te verteenwoordig het ek ook die sport beoefen saam rugby, maar weens 'n been breek besering het ek krieket bo rugby verkies en net my beste op die veld te gee. Provinsiale spelers soos Clive Rice, Peter Kirsten en vele meer was die spelers wat ek na opgekyk het, as uitstekende spelers en wat selfs ons land verteenwoordig het.

10. Belangstellings en Stokperdjies: Wat geniet jy buite die sport?

Om saam familie en vriende te kuier. En om Despatch Krieketklub, waarvan ek tans die President is, na die sport te vat tot groter hoogtes.

11. Wie is jou rol modelle in jou lewe of in die sport?

Of mense dit glo of nie, maar Jesus is my rolmodel en leier. En ek is die grootste sondaar op aarde met die meeste foute maar die Here het my en ons almal lief.

Friday 1 November 2024, the club hosted a music bingo night.

We would like to thank I do Quiz . For a marvelous night, it was loads of fun. And I can honestly say that everyone had fun. Look out for when the next will happen on our page.

We would like to thank Matthew Luke Moore Vehicle Sales "New&Used" for his sponsor towards the prizes. I want to thank Ashante Landman, who also sponsored us a price.

Without generous people like yourself, it will not be always to host fundraising evenings for the club.

A big milestone was achieved by Rudolf Smit.

Today marked his 15th year playing for Despatch KrieketKlub / Cricket Club ... Well done Rudolf Smit @ Dolla ..

Dolla started his cricket career in the 2010/11 and he is still going strong. Giving his all with every game that he is playing. He is a quality all rounder, and with his bowling, always giving the batters an uphill battle and making them think twice before taking that shot ...
