Last week I hosted a wonderful group of learners from Shea O Connor school. They are part of an eco group, which is such a great initiative for a school to educate on a very important topic. The group was enthusiastic and enjoyed the permaculture talk as well as the walk around the beautiful Fordoun Hotel and Spa food garden. I love inspiring the learners to grow their own food at home and in communities, it was the best morning! 😃❤️

Wow it’s hot 🥵 out there!! Stay as cool as a cucumber is my recommendation 🤪. No really, they keep you hydrated, contain lots of fibre to keep you regular 😝, are packed with vitamins K and A, antioxidants and promote weight loss💃. A real treat on a hot day is juice with cucumber or iced water with cucumber slices and lemon, or better yet just eat a refrigerated cucumber = Yum. 😋. Lots of cucumbers coming out of the garden at the moment and I’m thrilled about this one which is a Japanese long cucumber 🥒. See you at the markets!
